A little bit of history (but not too much...)

Born in England of both English and Irish heritage, my family
moved to Australia when I was two years old settling near
Melbourne, Victoria.

I spent the following years in and around Melbourne until 2005
when I went to Hong Kong for a one month holiday. I loved Asia so
much that I stayed and now  have homes in Melbourne and Hong
Kong and regularly visit Australia to see family and friends.

I enjoy spending time with others and love sitting around having a
deep conversation over a coffee. Also enjoy being philanthropic
whenever possible and doing volunteer service work having
spend 10 years as a volunteer suicide and crisis
counsellor/counsellor trainer. Am a Justice of the Peace in
Australia and like doing that community service.

I am a Member of the National Trust of Australia, the Ferrari Car
Club of Melbourne (no, I don't own one!) and am a Member of the
Hong Kong Ballet (yes, I even like ballet).

I believe in treating others with care and respect and treating other
equally regardless of race, colour or creed. Can't abide cruelty to
defenceless children or animals and would rather jump onto the
frey and have my head punched in while defending a child or an
animal rather than stand idly by.

Don't care much about money so don't ask me to count the
proceeds of a collection as I would much rather throw it in the bin
than count it. Not saying thats a good thing, just my style.

I won't mention other family members here as that wouldn't be fair
to them. After all, its called "private life" for a reason.

You will find some other information on my professional and
private life on the other pages of this website along with some
details of my hobbies and interests.
